MGTSND 01-09-2012 / Best Friends

This week you’ll hear from local act Best Friends. This performance was recorded on January 9th, 2012.

While it’s usually custom to specify a band by genre, it’s a little tough to place Best Friends in any particular corner. The act works under multiple sounds … anything from blues-y riffs you might hear in a smokey bar to aesthetics David Bowie might call friend.

But even though it’s a wide range, Best Friends makes it work, streamlining their multiple, genre-clashing influences into one, personal sound.

The band is composed of:

John Casey
Jami Calandros
Jordan Pack and
Paris Leonard

All members perform in various ways, sporting a multi-instrumental skill set that is, no doubt, a strength of the band.

Listen HERE.
